Abstract (EN)

The aim of this survey which was done with the general scanning model is showing how to produce the individualism at school (which internalizes discipline) with the technic of 'discipliner power' from the Foucault approach. According to Foucault, power is not a thing which is shared by the people who have power and the people who are depended to potence. Power is never on somebody's ownership, individual is in this process; potency works on individuals, it is not performed to individuals. So, potency must be analysed by caring the net structure which composes the chains of this circles. In this context, the aim is getting the attention how the students were accepted the disciplining approach by normalizing it thanks to observing-controlling-inspecting, normalizing sanctions (prize/punishment) and exam technics which are the parts of discipliner power technics which are performed with cryptic (implied) syllabus that is performed at schools. In 2011-2012 academic year, the survey was practiced by getting the samples from the students who are 9, 10, 11, 12 grade students at Sait Sabri Ağaoğlu Anatolian High School which is in the center of Uşak. The obtained data was depended to percentage and frequency analysis. In the obtained findings, it is seen that the students internalized the discipline with the discipliner power technics. Keywords: Power, Discipliner Power, Discipline, Exam, Normalizing sanction
