Abstract (EN)
In Turkey, because of using high loaded capacity trucks, it is neccesary to have well designed haulage roads. Conception of running mining has never been on scientific base but on past experiences.California Bearing Ratio(CBR) based on haul road design is commonly used in the world. In Turkey?s mining, for 50 tone haulage truck on poor ground, the neccesary layer thickness according to the CBR method is calculated as 60 cm. After an application of 50 cm lime stabilization on poor soil, the necessary material thickness to carry that truck is calculated as 10 cm. Analising by finite elements method for perpendicular deformation of lime stabilization ground value is accounted as 38 % smaller than other material.
