Refuge chamber systems used in mines aimed to eliminate the loss of life in case of a possible work accident or emergency were investigated and a small-scale refuge chamber prototype modeling process was carried out. In this study, Catia V5 design program and Ardunio software programs are used. Parts of the designed refuge chamber system have been produced by 3D printers and prototyping has been done. As a result, a concrete model was obtained by scaling 1/10 for the refuge chamber system, which would provide the workers with the vital functions and to provide a safe area as a result of a work accident in the underground mines. Results of occupational health and safety will shed light on the development of culture in Turkey is considered.
