Özet (EN)
The subject of the study is ecological differences of the woods of some woody taxa belonging to pseudamaquis and maquis vegetation native in our country. Within the scope of this study; wood samples of seven species (Arbutus andrachne, Erica arborea, Phillyrea latifolia, Laurus nobilis, Pistacia terebinthus, Rhus coriaria, Spartium junceum) were studied. Wood samples one for each species were collected from 200 to 480 m altitutes in the maguis vegetattion and 195 to 460 m altitues in the pseudomaquis vegetation where each species is naturally distributed. Vulnerability and Mesomorphy values were determined terms of wood anatomy of the species. Mesomorphic ratio for L.nobilis was calculated 262,84 in maquis vegetation and 343,27 in pseudomaquis vegetation. As a result of current research, it was observed that per square vessel number was higher in the maquis (104,01) vegetation than the pseudomaquis vegetation (90,59). Species have been found to adapt their wood anatomy structure, too where they naturally distribute.
