EK- 7 ABSTRACT WIN THE EXAMPLE OF MALATYA MUSEUM, THE CONSERVATION PROBLEMS OF THE TEXTILE PRODUCTS AND SUGGESTIONS FOR THEIR SOLUTIONS" This High License Thesis called. "IN THE EXAMPLE OF MALATYA MUSEUM, THE CONSERVATION PROBLEMS OF THE TEXTILE PRODUCTS AND SUGGESTIONS FOR THEIR SOLUTIONS" aims to put forth the conservation problems of works of textile products in the museum, Owing to the fact that textiles are particularly organic materials, they are weaker in resistance against micro-organisms compared to other products..For this reason, the problems of the works mentioned above have been put forth and the ways to solve theese problems have been tried to find out. The work done consists of two parts: In the first part, information is given about the formation and development of the museum in the historical course of time, and the introduction of the display areas and the works exhibited here has been made in short. The conservation problems of the works in the sections that consist of archeology, etnography and the coins (sikkes) have been tried to identify. Becides this, information has been given about the textile conservation
