SUMMARY In order to be more creative at work and be more pleased with, life, It is necessary for workers to be satistied with what work they do. Work satisfaction is a kind of positive mood reflexion which comes out as a result of person's experiences. Work Satisfaction is accumplished only when workers' demands are met with work features. In this uncompleted survey, there has been an investigation on 302 people's age, sex and maritual situation which will affect work satisfaction level, of whom are from managerial, technical and subservent classes, and who have worked at Turgut Özal Medical Center in 2000 year. Work satisfaction which has been improved by Hockman and Oldham, and which has been measured by Güler using a 14-standarded questionaire applied to Turkish community. Morever, she has developed a questionaire questioning changeable socio demography and applied to the participantts. Participants in the survey, 215 ( %71.2) of whom are male (men) and 87 (%28.8) are female (women) 18-52 (arithmaticaly 31.4±6.9; middled age is 30). When considered their maritual situation, 197 (%65.2) of whom are married. When investigated their educational level, 21 (%7.0) of whom are married. When investigated their educational level, 21 (%7.0) of whom are literate/primery school graduated, 42 (%13.9) are secondary school graduated. 113 (% 37.4) are highschool graduated and 126 (41.7) are university graduated. When investigated the position of the participants at service, 68 (%22.5) of whom are nursery personal, 69 (%22.8) of whom are managerial, 47 (%15.6) of whom are technical personal, 118 (%39.1) of whom are asistant personal. When working statue investigated, there has been found out that 168 (%55.6) of whom are permanent, 134 (% 44.4) of whom are temporary, Participants in the servey, 225 (% 174.5) of whon have always been working at daytime, 32 (%10,6) of whom are always at night time, and 45 (%14.9) by turns+standart working period. When investigated the reasons why participants started to work; 139 (%46.0) of whom were on their own decision, 101 (%32.4) of whom were because of current unemployment, and 62 (% 20.5) of whom were for other reasons (mainly becuause of their own family choice) Total work satisfaction level in arithmatical score over 70 is 41.1+10.7 According to the score obtained, it can be said that personal work satisfaction is at the middle levels. While the most dissatisfaction of the field is the amount of payment, the most satisfactory of the field is good relations with working personal. This situation is in accordance with the results of different studies 35The work satisfaction level of in men is higher comparing with women arithmatical total score as statistical (p<0.05) There is no great difference among the groups statistically in the field positions such as: maritual, aducation, whether or not to the attendance of upper level aducation, profession, the style of working, working status and how they were appointed (p>0.05). There is a meaningful difference statistically among the groups related to the reasons why they started to work (p<0.05). The arithmatical score of the persons who started to work on their own choice is the greatest (The grup that makes a gap) In the light of conclusions obtained, it has been reached to the results that it is necessary to provide permenant emplayment for temporary working personals and to make some statible improvements to the amount of wages. 36
