Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in order to determine parasitic fungi that cause disease in the plants of the province of Manavgat (Antalya) district. The area of study is limited to the Strait site in the south, Titreyengöl, Sorgun Pinery, Manavgat Dam in the north east, and Asar Creek in the east. In the study area, plant specimens infected by parasitic fungi were collected between September 2012 and October 2017 (especially between September and June). As a result of investigations carried out after the field studies, 105 taxa were determined. Of these species, 71 were classified as Ascomycota (30 Dothideomycetes, 34 Leotiomycetes, 6 Sordariomycetes, 1 Incertae sedis), 32 Basidiomycota (1 Microbotryomycetes, 27 Pucciniomycetes, 1 Exobasidiomycetes, 3 Ustilaginomycetes classes). As a result of this research, 15 out of 105 fungi taxa have been found to be new records for mycobiota of Turkey upon detailed literature investigations. Besides, 16 of the plants that parasitic fungi cause diseases are new hosts for Turkey.
