Determination of the population change and effectiveness of diffarent attractant traps in spotted wings rosophila,drosophila suzikii matsumumura, 1931, (Diptera: Drosophilidae) in strawberry and cherry in Kula district of Manisa

With this study, it was aimed to determine the population change and the effectiveness of different nutrient traps according to apple vinegar (control) of Spotted wing drosophila (SWD), Drosophila suzikii (Matsumura) (Diptera: Drosophilidae), which has caused great damage in the world and in our country recently. For this purpose, apple vinegar, grape vinegar, apple-grape vinegar mixture, molasses-apple vinegar mixture and wine were used as attractants. In order to determine their effectiveness, the samples obtained from the traps in the field conditions between 2018 and 2019 were counted and the results were evaluated. As a result of the study, a total of 22 (22 females, 0 male) in the strawberry orchard and 86 (75 females, 11 males) adult individuals belonging to the pest in the cherry orchard were caught in Kula district of Manisa Province when the population was followed by using apple cider vinegar. In order to determine the effectiveness of different attractant traps, a total of 39 (34 females, 5 males) adult individuals from apple cider vinegar-molasses mix traps and a total of 38 (32 females, 6 males) adult individuals from wine traps were caught in the strawberry orchard. In the cherry orchard, a total of 179 (92 females, 87 males) adult individuals from wine traps and 88 (36 females, 52 males) adult individuals from apple cider vinegar-molasses mix traps were caught. As a result of statistical analysis of data obtained from strawberry and cherry orchards, wine and apple cider vinegar-molasses mix traps were found to be most effective.
