Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to analyze TAR-GEL project objectives and current status of projects personnel, the duties which they performed, opinions and suggestions about the project. Face to face interview was used to gather data from 31 agricultural consultants and 142 farmers which served from these consultants. These agricultural consultants provided consultancy services to around 376 villages with 1.913.617 decar agricultural land.Not only agricultural consultants but also farmers were agreed that the project was successful. 95.8% of farmers pointed out that agricultural consultants have meet the farmers demand about agricultural production. 74.2% of agricultural consultants agreed that women farmers were reluctant to get information from men agricultural consultants. Only 9 agricultural consultants were living at the villages. They have been experiencing transportation and accommodation problems
