Özet (EN)
Krikor Zohrab is one of the most notable Armenian intellectuals of the late Ottoman Empire. Zohrab is a writer, lawyer and statesman who has made various studies to ensure social unity and prevent collapse despite all the pressures in the Ottoman Empire. The Armenian intellectual Zohrab, who is the subject of this study, lived and had education in the Ottoman lands, carried out studies that showed the hope that Armenians and Turks could live together, and presented new ideas about social problems. It is possible to see the most important reflections of these ideas of Zohrab in his speech and discussions in the Parliament. In addition to the numerous works he brought to the literature, Zohrab also took active roles in the Ottoman Armenian community, and was among the Ottoman intellectuals by being elected as a deputy for three terms. In this study, the life and developments that played a role in Krikor Zohrab's personal development were examined in the light of the Mebusan Parliament Minutes, and Zohrab's attitudes towards social problems, especially Turkish-Armenian relations, were evaluated. These evaluations are based on the works of Zohrab and the speeches he made in the Parliament. Keywords: Krikor Zohrab, Armenian, Ottoman, Intellectual, Meclis-i Mebusan
