Abstract (EN)

Comprehending the effect that leadership styles have on performance at work has become crucial as companies increasingly acknowledge the core importance of ethics in leadership and employee well-being. Focusing particularly on the telecom sector, this study investigates the mediating role that job stress (JST) plays in the connection between job satisfaction (JS) and servant leadership (SL). The three main telecom businesses in Libya are the subject of this study. The research aims to assess the indirect and direct effects SL has on job satisfaction through job stress. Using a cross-sectional survey approach, quantitative research methodology is used. 355 randomly chosen working employees from different organizational departments were given a structured questionnaire based on validated scales. Statistical tests, such as multiple regression, correlation, and mediation analysis through SPSS, examined the hypothesized relationships. The results of research show that SL minimizes stress linked with the workplace and greatly increases job satisfaction. The connection between SL and JS is partially mediated by JST, indicating that leaders who exhibit empathy, ethical conduct, and support can reduce stress and subsequently increase satisfaction with work. Since they demonstrate how leadership styles can be strategically employed for developing a more efficient and positive work atmosphere, these results advance our understanding of organizational behaviour. Additionally, managers and organizational leaders looking to develop constructive leadership frameworks in high-pressure industries can benefit greatly from the study's practical insights. In conclusion, employers may enhance employee performance and organizational efficiency by focusing on servant leadership principles.
