Abstract (EN)
The manuscript called Manakıb-ı Mekke that describes Islamic menaqıbs in a poetic way belongs to the 18th century. This study, which examines the three-part manuscript, also provides extensive information on range locations. In addition to giving Islamic information, it is an important work for our literature as it reflects the language characteristics of the period and has a verse section written by aruz prosody. This thesis is composed of three headings. The first part is the review where language features of the period were taken into account and the suffixes that the words took were examined one by one and a language examination was conducted. In the text section, the second part of the thesis, the manuscript, which was preserved in Arabic letters, was translated into Latin letters. In the last section, the index, a grammatical indexing was made by specifying the language to which the words belong. Moreover, in the introduction at the beginning of the thesis, emphasis was put on interesting aspect of the manuscript.
