A comparison study through plastic arts between diagnosed children of mental reterdation and normal development peers

This study aimed to compare children with normal development and the children who have been diagnosed with MR aged between 4-14 on the basis of plastic art using family drawings. The following questions were searched fort his survey. According to the pictures drawn by the students who have been diagnosed with MR between the age of 4 and 14 and the students with normal devolopment do this cores they get from 'Draw Family' differ significantly, What are the differences between the pictures drawn bye the students who have been dignosed with MR between the age of 4 and 14 and the pictures of the students with normal development, In the first part of this study, the subject of the research; research, the purpose and theim portance of the resarch; in the second part, the information about searching the literature about the search; in the third part the model and the universe of the search , the purpose of collecting data; in the fourth part there sults obtained from the search were stated. While the findings obtained from the study were being evaluated SPSS 22.0 statical package program was used for statistic alanalysis. PearsonChi-Square test and FisherExact test were used for comparison of caterogical parameters. The McNemar test was used for comparison of the colorimetric data. There sults were evaluated 95% confidence interval at p 0,05 signitican celevel. There was a significant relationships between children's drawing sand their developmenta lstatus. In addition, there was a significan trelationship between children 's age sand their drawings. It was seen that both groups, the Picture was used as a means of expressing themselves.
