Mersin Toroslar District has a great potential for peach production due to its suitable ecological conditions. Mersin is in the first place with 17.7% of Turkey's peach production. The district of Toroslar, which is the research area, also accounts for 43% of this production. Thus, the amount of production realized is far behind the potential. The aim of this study was to examine the practices of peach growing enterprises, to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing organization and to improve the production and marketing of peaches in the region and to evaluate peach production potential better. The main material of the study is data collected from the producers through survey. Through the SWOT analysis conducted in the research, the weak and strong aspects of peach production and the threats and opportunities in the market were examined and some improvements in the production and marketing stages will resulted in the rapid production and marketing of the region.
