Özet (EN)
Metakaolin is a more environmentally friendly material compared to cement; therefore, its importance in the production of eco-friendly concrete is increasing day by day. A review of the literature reveals that there are very few studies on the use of metakaolin in pervious concrete. This study aims to shed light on future research by providing valuable insights for researchers. In this study, metakaolin was used to partially replace cement at rates of 0%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 25%, and 30% by weight, and its effects on the strength and durability properties of pervious concrete were comprehensively examined. A certain number of samples from each series were prepared according to standards and cured in a water pool for 28 days. At the end of 28 days, tests were conducted to determine compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, unit weight, void ratio, abrasion resistance, and infiltration rate. The findings were then presented to researchers to assess the effects of metakaolin on pervious concrete.
