Özet (EN)

Religion is a mysterious phenomenon that has been discussed since the existence of human beings and has not been resolved today. Problems such as whether the unresolved aspects of the concept of religion - especially religious dogmas and teachings - which has a very important place in human life, reflect the truth, whether they can be epistemologically justified, what level and form the faith-reason relationship should be, are from the past, which are trying to make sense of the purpose of life for people has always been the centre of attention. The fact that the relationship between reason and faith has not been fully revealed has turned this focus of interest into a conflict. This situation, which has been discussed since ancient philosophers, continues today. Fideism has offered various views to clarify this ongoing debate. In this context, the studies of philosophers interested in Fideism in both Islamic philosophy (Mevlana) and Christian Philosophy (Kierkegaard) shed light on the dark side of fideism. Mevlana and Kierkegaard have similar ideas that it is impossible to prove God. According to them, looking for evidence to believe in God is not a desirable situation for faith. This study, which examines Mevlana and Kierkegaard's views on fideism, focuses on two main objectives. First of all, in order to make the fideism of Mevlana and Kierkegaard more understandable, fideism will be tried to be explained. Morover, within the framework of fideism, it is aimed to reveal the similar and different views of these two philosophers on faith, based on their works.
