Life, art and works of Mi̇kayil Müşfi̇k

Occupation of Azerbaijan by The Soviet Union is the beginning of the soviet term of Azerbeijan Literature. Soviet Management which presented a free art environment at the beginning, started to create a stage which was controlled by the State. The artists were forced to make works of their art under the pressure authority and state-controlled situation. Mikayıl Müşfik is a poet who lived in mentioned period but didnt play politics with his works of art entirely. In his first years,, he distilled good sides of Soviet Managament and reforms that was mad efor Azerbaijan and reflected all these situations to his work efforts. On the other hand, Mikayıl Müşfik who saw the cold expression of Soviet Management, didnt also ignore the bad attitude of the regime with his symbolic language that he used in his poems and arts. In this regard, although Mikayıl Müşfik composed his works of art according to Soviet Managament's wishes, he produced an unique sense of art by reflecting the history, tradition, culture, way of living of Azerbaijan Fols with plain, sincere, literary language and style. Mikayıl Müşfik whoarticulated folk's feelings with his works of art, he is especially known as "love and beauty" poem in Azerbaijan. Mikayıl Müşfik who was known "the Period of Worshipping to Personality" in 1930s and was executed by shooting by Soviet Regime with the claim like "anti-system, public enemy and panturkist, had many works of art in his short life when solely lasted until 1937. Mikayıl Müşfik's works of art were banned until 1956 when he was acquitted by proving his blamelessness after his death. His works of art which includes lyrical and epical poems especially, translation works and children's literatüre, render Mikayıl Müşfik immortal. He was able to compose all of his works of art in a decade. The most conspicuous side of Mikayıl Müşfik is his poesy. His poems take shape on the theme like love, sympathies, beauty, longing, patriotism and freedom. It is seen that Mikayıl Müşfik who mostly prefered individual theme in his poems and composed poems with the effects of environment and poets which he read, composed the works of art about social matters with the heavy hand of Soviet Managment in 1930s. Poem style of Mikayıl Müşfik was affected by Sabir, Fuzuli, Tevfik Fikret with love style but he didnt ignore to creat his own unique sens of art.
