Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out in a glasshouse in the Faculty of Agriculture in Akdeniz University to examine "The Effects of Microbiological Fertilizers on Yield and Quality of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) growing. Bestona F1 tomato variety was used as plant material and seedlings were planted at 90-50 x 40 cm row spacing and plant spacing. The size of the plot was 2.5 m2 and there were 10 plants in each repetition. In the research, two different microbiological fertilizers were used under the commercial names of SP (Süper Pan) and MF (MegaFlu). Two combinations of microbial fertilizers and chemical fertilizers with a total of 14 applications were included in the study. During the research, L, Hue, and Chroma color values, chlorophyll content, fruit width and length (mm), fruit thickness (mm), total soluble solids (%), pH, acidity (mg/100 g), vitamin C (mg/100 g), total yield (kg/m2), first and second class yield (kg/m2) criteria were examined. As a result of the study, it was found that microbial fertilizer applications were not effective on the color values determined in tomato fruits, while there was no difference in terms of soluble solid in the examinations made in fruit juices, the most measured pH values were in SP-Control and MF-2 applications. In addition, both microbial fertilizers did not have a significant effect on acidity, the highest vitamin C values were analyzed in SP-4 and MF-4 applications. Chlorophyll contents measured in tomato leaves, the highest were determined SP-3, SP-4, SP-Control, and MF-4 applications. No significant differences were observed between fruit width and fruit thickness measured in tomato fruits, and the highest values in terms of fruit length were found in SP-1 and MF-5. The highest first class yields of harvested tomato fruits in applications of SP-4, SP-3, SP-Control, MF-6, MF-Control, MF-4, MF-5, the highest second class yields SP-Control and MF-3 It has been detected in their applications. The highest efficiency values in terms of total yield were obtained from SP-4, SP-3, SP-Control, MF-Control, MF-6, MF-4, and MF-5 applications. As a result, when the yield values were examined, when microbial fertilizer applications were applied in addition to the 50% reduced NPK fertilizers, the values obtained from the parcels with normal NPK fertilization were reached. These results will contribute to the increase of soil vitality and fertility as well as saving from fertilization.
