Özet (EN)
Nowadays, by modifying various yarn spinning systems, it has become common to obtain new yarn structures by utilizing the properties of two or more fiber components with different properties. These yarns, defined as composite (hybrid) yarns, consist of two different components that form the yarn when produced in a modified ring yarn system. In this yarn form, which is created by twisting a bundle of fibers and yarns over each other, the component in the center is defined as the core, and the components wrapped around the core are defined as the wrap. The production of yarns with different properties by using different raw materials in the core and wrapped of composite yarn increases the yarns diversity. In this study, microfilament reinforced composite yarns were produced under the same production conditions in the modified ring spinning system, the performance properties of the yarns and the performance properties of the denim woven fabric produced from these yarns were determined. PES (polyester) textured filament yarns with 56 dtex linear density were used in the structure of the composite yarn. The fineness of the single fibers used in the structure of this yarn is classified as 2.33 dtex and 1.56 dtex as normal filament, and those with a single fiber fineness of 1.17 dtex, 0.78 dtex and 0.58 dtex are classified as microfilament. These yarns were used separately in the core and wrapper together with 44 and 78 dtex elastane core in the spinning system, and composite yarn production was also carried out in the same way in the structure of PBT and T400 filament yarns, which are the standard components used by the company in composite yarn production. Additionally, Ne 16/1 100% conventional cotton yarns and single core corespun yarns with 44 and 78 dtex elastane core were also produced as reference yarns. A comparison of the performance properties of all the yarns produced within the scope of the thesis study and the fabrics obtained by using these yarns in the weft in denim fabric production was made.
