Abstract (EN)

Increase in Construction sector is paralel to economy which has developed recently in our country and brings about the growth in consumption of building materials. When a general assessment is made among the building materials, concrete has the highest cost. This matter, influences the concrete costs and it embarks researchers on a quest which will reduce the amount of cement in concrete. Using Mineral (Puzolan) and Chemical Additives in order to reduce the amount of cement, is mentioned in researches. This study analyzes the performance of Puzolanic Micronized Filter Pearlite in concrete. Two types of cement, "CEM I 42, 5R" and "CEM II A-LL 42,5R" have been used in experiments. C25/30 concrete class is used as a base. Considering the types of cement, amount of cement to be used for 1 m3 concrete, has been determined. Provided that total binding material amount, which is detected in concrete mixtures remains stable, mineral additives are added according to volume of cement. Totally 14 different concrete mixtures including one reference concrete mixture, have been prepared for every type of cement. 15x15x15 centimeters 168 concrete cubes have been taken as sample from these mixtures. The cube samples have been kept in curing pool for 3,7,28,45,60 and 90 days. Experiment results showes that MFP can be used as an alternate binding material together with both types of cement. MFP mixtured concretes has exhibited less resistance to pressure than Reference concretes, according to the results. After analyzing resistance results, it has been detected that total binding material of MFP is 13 percent more efficient. Moreover, the resistance results was analyzed by Genetic algorithm optimization method. Providing that we enable the same environmental conditions and use the same materials, without making a mixture and using Genetic Algorithm Approach will enable a pre-resistance prediction.
