A poem journal registered with the number of 06 MİL YZ A 3479 in national library (research-text and classification according to MESTAP)

Journals are among the sources used to uncover the history and accumulation of classical Turkish literature. Journals, which are of historical importance, are sources of verse or prose anthology. These personal anthologies are not only reflecting the literary taste of the period, but are also treasures where poems are collected and unearthed. These sources, which are the treasure of classical literature, enable us to recognize poets and poems that are not mentioned in other sources and to gain new information about the genre and shape features of classical literature. Journals are very valuable works, not only in accordance with their literary importance, but also because they enable us to have an opinion in terms of their historical, sociological, political and literary tastes. For this reason, analyzing and revealing the journals in every aspect will contribute greatly to our culture both in literary and historical terms. Within the framework mentioned above, in this study, we tried to outline the poem journal, our thesis topic, registered with the number of 06 Mil Yz A 3479 in the National Library. Accordingly, we firstly examined the concept of journal in classical Turkish literature, the classification characteristics of the journals and the classification attempts made in this field. We also mentioned the importance of journals in our classical literature. Later, we gave statistical information on number of poems, verse forms, meters used in poems, and rhyme styles of the poems taking place in the journal. Then, we added a MESTAP table. Also, following the study of the journal, which is the subject of our study, as mentioned, we gave the transcribed text of the journal. Evaluations in this study were made on 52 poets and 102 poems / pieces of poems in the journal. Some of the poets in the journal were not found in the sources.
