Abstract (EN)
Historical artifacts from the past to the present shed light on the human family about the periods in which they were made. The Turks have been influenced by many sources and the artistic experience of cultures in the areas where Turkish civilization is dominant, regarding the decorative arts of the works they have created. They have always succeeded in creating an original structure with Turkish sensitivity and distinguished artistic taste in terms of components such as color, pattern, motif, composition in their works. In this way, they have structured a strong and effective art knowledge and style that has survived to this day. The art of ornamentation in Turkish buildings has reached the present day by developing as a result of cultural and social experiences, centered on the love of people and nature. In my study, the geometric patterns on the pulpits and altars of Alaaddin Mosque (Muhyiddin Mesud), Ahi Şerafettin (Aslanhane) Mosque and Ahi Elvan Mosques, which have survived to the present day and contain examples of Seljuk style decoration, were examined, and the patterns on the altar and pulpit in different sections were examined. Analysis and drawing analyzes were carried out on one sample each. Composition approaches that include endless combinations in the formation of geometric patterns in the mosque, its symmetrical arrangement attract attention and fascinate those who see it. Polygonal Technique (Polygons in Contact), which is one of the methods used in pattern production, which Jay Bonner advocated and developed based on some traditional applications, was used in the analysis and drawing of geometric patterns. The methods followed in the creation of geometric patterns in the examined works were examined and the drawing stages were shown in the Auto-cad program. The interface work, which includes interactive applications in video format, for the drawing stages of geometric patterns, was carried out on the Vuforia AG application kit and the Unity game engine. An AR mobile application has been prepared in order to gain knowledge about the formation process of patterns and to make visits to these places more effective, beneficial and effective, as well as the aesthetic dimension of the works examined with the support of the created pattern analysis videos and AR technology.
