Abstract (EN)
It is known that the amount of energy that people need increases due to the developing technology and increasing population in today's world population is increasing rapidly. In order to meet the increase in the amount of energy needed, the fossil energy resources used have started to be consumed more and these limited resources are being depleted faster. In the process from the past to the present, the amount of energy needed has increased with the increase in industrialization, and energy crises have occurred from time to time around the world in order to meet this need. The energy crises that people face have made people be careful about using the existing energy more efficiently and have led them to look for new energy sources. It is known that lighting energy constitutes an important part of energy consumption today. In today's conditions, where the effective use of energy is at the forefront, the use of daylight and lighting is necessary both in terms of energy savings and in terms of creating comfortable environments for people. Energy efficient building designs have gained importance within the scope of sustainable design and environmentally friendly projects, whose popularity is increasing day by day. For this reason, green building certification systems, which were developed rapidly and adopted by large masses in a short time, reveal design criteria that can help designers in the titles of sustainable architecture and energy saving. Thanks to the developed certification systems, the criteria presented globally and regionally, the technical characteristics and working methods of daylight lighting systems were examined in a systematic manner and presented to the designer. In this way, it was desired to create a systematic auxiliary resource to guide the designer. In this thesis, the first chapter is the introduction. In this chapter; The subject, purpose, scope and method of the study were determined. In the second part; The explanations of the terms sun, daylight and lighting and their relations with each other are examined. In addition, the relationship between daylight and human and building has been tried to be detailed by creating sub-headings. In the third part; General information about the purposes and functions of daylight lighting systems is given. It has been revealed by which criteria these systems are classified as guiding and carrying systems. The technical definitions, features, working principles and functions of the systems examined under two different headings are explained with examples. In the fourth chapter; Evaluation criteria which determined with literature review that can be used to evaluate all of the daylight lighting systems described in the study and to compare the systems with each other when necessary have been determined. Determined evaluation criteria were converted into question patterns using a 5-point Likert scale in order to evaluate all of the daylight lighting systems described in the study. For the evaluation of daylight systems, questions patterns questions was submitted to the evaluation of the focus group whose members are put across the day light course while in master. The question patterns answered by the focus group was made analytical with the SPSS data evaluation program. The quantitative data obtained by this method is intended to be an auxiliary source during the selection of the appropriate system by the users and designers during the selection of daylight lighting systems. In the fifth part, a general evaluation of the study and some suggestions about using and determine day light systems was made as a conclusion.
