Abstract (EN)
Mobbing is defined as the systematic, deliberate, and repeated psychological harassment of an individual in the workplace. Organizational silence refers to situations where employees consciously refrain from expressing information, ideas, and opinions about organizational problems, suggestions, or concerns. Organizational communication, on the other hand, encompasses the communication processes that facilitate the transfer of information, emotions, and thoughts among employees to achieve an organization's common goals. This study aims to investigate employees' knowledge levels regarding mobbing, organizational silence, and organizational communication within a food and beverage sector enterprise. It also examines their experiences with mobbing and organizational silence practices and whether these encounters lead to organizational silence. Adopting a quantitative research design, data were collected from a total of 107 employees using a survey technique. The collected data first underwent reliability analysis, followed by correlation, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analyses. The analyses confirmed that the data possessed a sufficient level of reliability. Statistical analyses revealed that mobbing influences organizational communication dynamics in complex ways, and in certain situations, it may even lead to an increase in communication. Furthermore, the study concluded that there are significant connections between employees' demographic characteristics (especially seniority, family income level, and education level) and their organizational perceptions. However, gender and marital status were not found to play a decisive role in these perceptions. The findings offer important implications for organizations and managers in combating workplace mobbing and silence, as well as in developing effective communication strategies.
