Abstract (EN)
Mobbing denotes the hostile behaviors at companies exercised by the superiors and subordinates on a systematic basis at least once a weak and for at least six months and aims to ostracize the employee in every sense. It adversely affects not only the organization but also employees and has unpleasant consequences for both. On the one hand employees lose their organizational commitment, leave their jobs and suffer psychological harms, on the other hand, organizations lose their qualified staff and incur material loses. Organizations also lose their potential customers just before they manage to gain them because employees are the internal customers of organizations and the pathway to the external customers starts with the internal ones. Successful marketing of a good or a service first starts with the employees',in other words, the internal customers' belief in that good or service, satisfaction with their jobs and feeling valuable in their position and company. Therefore, internal marketing activities at companies prevent employees from experiencing mobbing and thus increase their organiza-tional commitment and motivation. In this regard, organizations both manage to implement successful marketing strategies towards their external customers and ensure that their quali-fied employees, i.e. internal customers, stay. Thanks to internal marketing, future internal and external customers exhibit positive attitudes towards the relevant organization. This study addresses mobbing in the private sector and the effect of internal marketing activities on mobbing.
