Today, mobile devices are rapidly evolving, affecting our lifestyle as well as learning styles. Mobile learning is a way of learning that meets the needs of the 21st century and the needs of the future. Nowadays, information is produced so quickly and this information can be accessed very quickly. This situation enables the interaction between mobile devices and learning inevitable. Today we are facing intense technology. There have been tendecies in field of Education in terms of technology. Day by day, with the course designs in virtual world, m-learning takes place in our understanding of Education. It has been observed that there is a continuity of Education. The importance of lifelong learning is increasing day by day. At this point, mobile learning also provides great support to the individuals who will grow up in the lifelong learning process. It is defined as learning by means of eliminating the space-time limit for individuals, responding to individual needs, providing communication, increasing work efficiency, and learning through mobile devices. It is aimed to increase the student's academic success and improve the technology skills by including everyone involved in the learning process. Taking into consideration all these conditions, if we want to catch up with the developing world, we should answer the question "How can we use the technology more effectively and efficiently?". In this study, a meta-analysis of mobile learning research and applications was carried out and a statistical analysis of the results obtained by combining the results of the studies was aimed at mobile learning independently. Mobile learning is the process of learning and learning in a variety of contexts, including, but not limited to: In recent years, due to the technological developments in the last ten years, the studies related to the subject has attracted attention. For this reason, academic success and attitude variables were taken into consideration in the studies between 2008 and 2018. A total of 30 studies were included in the study, 16 of which were examined in terms of academic success variables and 14 in terms of attitude variables. The sample size, mean and standard deviation values of the studies were analyzed and the effect size values were obtained. As a result of the analyses, the fixed effect size for academic achievement was 0.581, random effect size was 0.607 and the fixed effect size for attitude was 0.346, and the random effect size was 0.529. It was observed that mobile learning has a positive impact on academic achievement and attitude.
