Abstract (EN)
One of the important sectors in Turkey is the furniture Sector. However, excessive Competition in the Sector reduces the profit share. The blue ocean strategy has the potential to have a significant impact on increasing the chance of Competition in foreign markets by working on the value system of the Sector stakeholders in the country. The main purpose of this research; to contribute to the growth of companies in the value chain by determining the blue ocean strategy for the furniture Sector of Elazig Province. In the study, first of all, the current situation of the World Turkey and the Province of Elazig for the furniture Sector is revealed, the problems of the Sector and the strategies suitable for the solution of these problems are determined. As a result of the study, it has been determined that there is a competitive market structure in the furniture Sector, as in all sectors. In order not to reduce the said Competition, a blue ocean strategy that can be applied in the furniture industry has been put forward. Thus, with the example of Elazig Province, it is aimed to contribute to the companies to Create foreign market areas and to determine the rules of the game by applying the blue ocean strategy instead of meaningless domestic Competition. With the implementation of the blue ocean strategy, the products in the furniture Sector of Elazig Province It is recommended to develop the with advantages og differentiation and low-cost production.
