Abstract (EN)

The topic of our thesis work is "Modern Orthodox Judaism". The input of our work consists of three parts and the result parts. In the introductory section, research topics, boundaries, purpose and importance are explained. In the first part, "History of Modern Orthodox Judaism" was written. Also in the historical process, Jewish denominations have been dealt with from the first period to the modern turn. In the second part, the "Beliefs in Modern Orthodox Judaism" is dealt with. In the last part, "Applications in Modern Orthodox Judaism" have been processed. In the conclusion section, of the study was made a general evaluation. The aim of the study is to first reveal the characteristics of Modern Orthodox Judaism by separating it from other denominations with its beliefs and practices, and to show that it is the main line of Judaism as its main objective. In this study, Modern Orthodox Judaism in the first period of the Pharisee, Medieval Judaism in the Medieval period, the adoption of the traditional Judaism understanding in terms of adoption of many areas in terms of similarity and modern Orthodox sect identified is one of the points today. Modern Orthodox Jews have shown little change in coordination and practice in comparison to other Jewish denominations and have maintained a traditional Jewish line. It has also been observed that Modern Orthodox Jewry has shown flexibility in places where it is not essential to keep pace with modern times.
