The effect of Paris School and leading artists in birth of modern art

Renaissance, the harbinger of innovations and change, developed as a reaction against the medieval thought and capitalism exploiting humanity appeared along with these developments. Capitalism, especially nourished by the industrial revolution, shattered social values. Europe using the industrial developments increasingly gained strength with these developments and attracted the attention of other countries. However, these developments progressed with an understanding that exploited humanity and didn't care about rights and freedoms. Breaking this understanding was realized with the French revolution. Together with the French revolution, the dominant and freedom-blocking forces were shaken and an understanding adopting human rights and freedoms spread to the world. The insights that evolved with the revolution also influenced the field of art. With the French revolution, innovations in Paris that appeared from the late 19th century until the mid-20th century attracted the attention of many artists from different countries. Many artists escaping from pressures, wars, and demolitions migrated to Paris being the center of freedom. The artists who had original tendencies with the effect of the revolution reshaped the art by taking part in the innovative environment of Paris giving importance to the art and artist. With the inclusion of free behaviors and ideas in art, struggles about the new content of art started between the artists with original tendencies and the academies defending the traditional understanding and carrying out the artistic activities throughout Europe. The insights that embody everyday subjects in art, and in particular the artistic approaches of the impressionist artists, shattered the traditional effects and prepared the ground for modern understanding. Inspired by the existence of the nature, such artists as Matisse, Picasso, Kandinsky, Mondrian, Modiglian, Chagall, Bonnard, Soutine and Brancusi, who started with the communication between human and life, formed the modern art content by being in Paris and creating movements like Fauvism, Cubism, Expressionism and abstract art. This is a survey-model research concerning the modern art searches starting as of the late 19th century and the pioneer artists of modern art in Paris. In spite of all pressures and exclusion, modern artists who did not give up exhibiting innovations, influenced many artists and art fields with their style and world views. The effects of modern understanding influenced fashion and design fields, especially the contemporary painting art. The paintings of such artists as Nikzad Nojumi, A.R.Penck, Renier Fetting, Neşe Erdok, Hale Arpacıoğlu, Burhan Uygur, Alaattin Aksoy, Jenny Saville and Naser Arasteh reflect the effects appropriate for the understanding of modern artists. In the field of fashion design, designers such as Patrick Cox, Yves Saint Laurent and Dior Couture have brought modern influences to their designs. The contemporary influences on posters of graphic artists such as Niklaus Troxler, Mengü Ertel and Jan Lenica can be seen in today's poster designs.
