Abstract (EN)
Today, social and cultural values are changing rapidly. In particular, the technological developments and expanding social networks of the 21st century have made enough progress to completely eliminate the lines that limit social interaction in the world. Therefore, modernization phenomena have become more widespread across the world. Along with the interaction network, changes have started to take place in Kurdistan Regional Government, one of the places where similar transformations have taken place. In this context, this thesis examines the cultural and social value changes in Northern Iraq. Through the selected fashion group Mr. Erbil as the analysis unit, both the fashion phenomenon and the change in socio-cultural values will be discussed within the framework of the reproduction of culture. İn addition, the theories of modernity and modernization has been discussed on the cultural, social and capital values experienced in the Kurdistan Regional Government. İn this context, there has been a remarkable cultural change in Kurdistan Regional Government especially after 2003.
