Özet (EN)

In this thesis study, the thermal conductivity coefficients of asphalt mixtures; gradation, the type of additive added and the changes according to the type of aggregate used were examined. For this purpose, firstly, samples with 6 different gradations were produced using basalt aggregate as densely graded aggregate and Stone Mastic Asphalt. Then, using both basalt and limestone aggregates; for each type of aggregate, including rubber, cellulosic fiber, SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene), SIS (Styrene Isoprene Styrene), Elvaloy (EL), SEBS (Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene), polyolefin elastomer and nanoclay and control sample Different kinds of asphalt samples were produced. It was observed that the coefficient of thermal conductivity decreased with the increase of coarse aggregate ratio in aggregate mixtures. It was observed that the additives added to the mixtures decreased the thermal conductivity coefficient of the mixture, and the highest decrease occurred in the samples modified with cellulosic fiber and rubber. It was concluded that the thermal conductivity properties of the samples prepared with basalt aggregate were better than the aggregates prepared using limestone aggregate.
