Özet (EN)

Mollâ Khalîl Siirdî is an Ottoman author who lived in the eastern provinces of Anatolia between the second half of the XVIII century and the first half of the XIX century. At an early age, he traveled to different regions for science education and learnt from the great scholars of his period. He completed his education in Kubbahan, one of the important science centers of the period. He made visits to Mosul while he was in Kubbahan and took part in Ahmed Reşîdî, the Kâdiri Sheikh. After receiving his scientific knowledge in Kubbahan, in our opinion, he entered the süluk for a while next to his sheikh and subsequently he received the caliphate. Mollâ Halîl, one of the most authoritative authors of his time, has copyrighted nearly fifty works in different fields of religious sciences. His most important work in the field of Sufism is Minhâc es-sonna es-saniyya fî âdâbi sulûk es-sofiyya, which we have the author copy. Besides that, his tract called Beyânu şurûti'l-khaliweti and Âdâbuhâ, which he copyrighted to seclusion and contains important information about the favor, is of great importance to us. In addition, he revealed that he was a strict follower of Ibn Arabi by copying some of his tracts and other tracts of Sufis who was influenced by Ibn Arabi and copying some tracts of them originally. One of the features that makes Mollâ Halîl different is that he studied Sufistic subjects intensely in his copyrighted works about belief and kalam, and often refered to sufis such as Muhyiddin Ibn 'Arabi and İmâm-ı Gazzâlî while discussing the issues about kalam. In addition, his sufism-themed poems, which he wrote at different times throughout his life, were turned into a small book long after his death. These works together with his commentary titled book, Basîretü'l-kulûb, which contains inclusive comments were used as the source of this study. In this thesis, in the light of the above mentioned works, both Sufi views and Sufi personality of Mollâ Khalîl were tried to be revealed. This study reveals that Mollâ Halîl, who emphasized the understanding of Qur'an and sunna-based Sufism, was influenced by the tradition of akbariî lore, and was one of the most prominent supporter and foremost follower, representative among the east scholars of unity of existence ideology that Ibn Arabî developed.
