Abstract (EN)

In this study, "Mecmûatu'l Ulûm" and "Er-Risaletu'd-Daiyye ila Muhabbeti Muaviyye" written by Mullah Musa al-Jalali have been examined in terms of Islamic sects within three chapters as introduction and two chapters. Scholar and mullah concepts were introduced in the introduction chapter. Mullah Musa is a scholar that was educated in madrasas. So, madrasa history has been elaborated in this chapter. Madrasa concept has been discussed in terms of dictionary meaning and conceptual meaning, afterwards briefly some information was given about madrasa history. Then, the issue was elaborated by mentioning general specifications of Eastern Madrasas. In the fist chapter, the life of Mullah Musa al Jalali and his works have been introduced. Second chapter inform about first disagreements among Muslims and sects that emerged after this disagreements and factions that emerged around this sects according to al-Jalali.
