Abstract (EN)
The Qur'an, which aims at the happiness of people both in this world and in the hereafter, has revealed principles of commercial and social life, as in all fields. In this study, the longest verse of the Qur'an, which regulates debt relations, was examined. The effects of the provisions in the verse on contemporary Turkish law of Obligations and the Roman law of obligations are examined by making some comparisons with the laws and practices that are in force in our country and the current Turkish law of Obligations and their applications in social life. In the study, it was observed that the provisions in the verse are similar to the laws in force in our country at many points, and that the Qur'an brings universal solutions to commercial and social life.
