Abstract (EN)
In this study it is aimed to clarify a period of Republic of Turkey?s History through analyzing politics during his opposition years applied by Second Man of Republic of Turkey who said that `My biggest defeat is my biggest victory? and lost 1950 general elections after transition to multi-party politics life.History gains importance by not only reading, knowing and by also evaluations and lessons from these evaluations. After he passed to opposition status to study struggle of Ismet Inonu, who served for country as a military man firstly as a politician later and effected for establishing multi-party politics life, for democracy and keeping his party alive under hard conditions carries big importance for solving government-opposition relations in crawling period of our democracy and interpreting democracy correctly.
