This thesis is about investigation a section of "Al-Awayed Al-Sunbuliyyah on Al- Fawayed Al-Shanshuriyyah" by Imam Muhammad Taher Sonbol (T. 1219 AH) [from the beginning of the book to the end of the chapter on grandfather and brothers], this manuscript is an explanation on "Al-Fawa'id Al-Shanshuriyyah: Explanation of Al-Manzuma Al-Rahbiyyah" by Imam Abdullah bin Muhammad Al- Shanchuri (T: 999 AH), Its value comes from its main subject: Division of inheritance, which is the most important section of Islamic fiqh at all, and it has been considered as a large jurisprudential comparative encyclopedia on inheritance issues in the Hanafi school, In it, the author collected strange, rare, and Controversial issues inside and outside the Hanafi school. He mentioned the opinions of the four schools of Islamic fiqh with more clarifications, linguistic and terminological definitions, so it was of great benefit in division of inheritance, The study followed the historical descriptive approach when presenting the biographical and scientific biography of Sheikh Muhammad Taher Sonbol and defining his era) the time period in which he lived(, and the scientific method used in the investigation and commentary on the book: such as writing the text, justify the text with diacritics, comparing the copies, attributing the sayings, and extracting the issues and documenting them. The most important conclusion of the study was: The author was able to simplify inheritance issues in a simple way that every science student can understand, he was proficient in dividing his book and arranging it into issues that make it easier to benefit from. He also inferred the sayings of the four imams and other jurists in a distinctive way, which indicated an outstanding scientific personality and wide knowledge. He was also distinguished for his scientific objectivity and impartiality in discussing the opinions of other schools of Islamic Fiqh, then he mentions the evidence of his Hanafi school of thought and gives preference according to what is clear to him of the evidence. Imam Muhammad Taher Sonbol left many important fatwas in matters of inheritance benefiting the people of jurisprudence, law and legislation.
