Professional problems and solution proposals of accounting professionals: Muğla province research

The invention of accounting dates back to the invention of writing. The first book in the world on the accounting profession is the Book of the Goods and the Perfect Merchant discovered in Italy. The first criteria of the accounting profession are determined here. Become official of the accounting profession in Turkey was enacted in 1989 with the Public Accountants and Financial Advisors Chartered Accountant Law. Accounting professionals, who have an important role in the economy of the country in general, encounter some problems during the implementation phase. Taxpayers, official institutions and trade associations, who are business partners, fall into expectations due to their transactions. Accounting professionals have problems due to these and similar reasons. In this study, it is aimed to determine the professional problems of accounting professionals and to produce solutions. Within the framework of this purpose, face-to-face surveys were conducted with random sampling method to 309 independent professional members from actively working professions registered in the professional chamber of Certified Public Accountant and Certified Public Accountant in Muğla province. SPSS 20 program was used to analyze the survey study. Questionnaire data were subjected to frequency analysis, normal distribution analysis, factor analysis, One Sample T test and One-Way ANOVA test. As a result of the study, 19 of the 24 hypotheses produced in accordance with its purpose were rejected and 5 of them were accepted. Two of the accepted hypotheses show that the gender variable affects the statements originating from the profession and the taxpayer. The other three accepted hypotheses state that the age variable affects the expressions originating from the taxpayer, TÜRMOB and society.
