Evaluation of the system performance of Mut Plain Irrigation Union

This study was conducted to evaluate the system performance of the Mut Irrigation Union, which is linking with the DSİ (State Hydraulic Works) in Mut Plain, between the years 2012 and 2018. Seven years of data were used to assess the evaluation of the union in terms of water efficiency, financial efficiency, and production efficiency. Turkish Liras(TL) is used to measure financial efficiency. Their irrigation rate was 35.78%, and the yearly water supply rate was 0.95 m3, according to the study's findings. The yearly irrigation water delivered to the unit irrigation area was calculated to be 259.67 m3 ha-1, while the annual irrigation water delivered to the unit irrigated area was calculated to be 40,009 m3ha-1. According to the findings, the maintenance expenses to collection from financial efficiency performance ratio is 24.20%, the investment recovery rate is 34.71%, and revenue is sufficient to pay maintenance costs. The average income for the total irrigation water delivered to users was calculated as 1.829 TL ha/m3. The operation-maintenance-management costs per unit area were calculated as 3207.5 TL ha-1, the water fee collection performance rate was 69.5%, and the average income for the total irrigation water delivered to users was calculated as 3207.5 TL ha-1.The income for the unit irrigation area was calculated as 8760,74 TL ha-1, the in come for the unit irrigated area was calculated as 3060,37 TL ha-1, and the income for the unit irrigation water taken into the network was calculated as 4268.5 TL ha-1, according to Production Efficiency Performance. We can conclude from the research that Mut Irrigation Association is a successful company.
