Abstract (EN)
The ancient city of "Nakoleia" is situated today at Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir province, which is one of the cities of the Phrygian Region. As for city, we have enough information from the Roman and Byzantine periods, whereas our knowledge for the previous periods is quite restricted. The city was located on an important route leading from Eskişehir to Dinar in antiquity. It is understood that this city was the administrative center of many imperial estates. In the late antiquity, there was a garrison near this city. It is understood that the city of Nakoleia had a very large territory. It is seen that there are many rural settlements whose names remain unknown today in this large territory. In this study, ancient Greek and Latin inscriptions found at Nakoleia and its surrounsings have been compiled and a catalogue work has been accomplished, which will obviously serve as a handbook for further epigraphic researches. Keywords: Nakoleia, Seyitgazi, Phrygia, Ancient Greek and Latin inscriptions, catalogue
