Nasihatü'l-İhvan (Abdullah bin Ömer): Text- analysis-index

Throughout history of humanity, people have been given advice on issues such as showing the right path, encouraging goodness, and keeping away from evil. In this study, the folios of the work named Nasihatü'l-İhvan [1b-60a], written in the nasihat-name/counsel text genre, were transcribed and examined in terms of sound and form features. This work, belonging to the Old Anatolian Turkish period, contains religious-Islamic advice. The topics described are supported by verses and hadiths in places. The study consists of four parts. In the first chapter, manuscripts and nasihat-name/counsel texts are explained. In the second chapter, the writing features of the text are explained and the language analysis is performed. In the third chapter, the text transferred to Latin letters using the transcription alphabet is given. In the fourth chapter, the grammatical index of the text was made and thus it was completed by presenting the facsimile of the work at the end of the study. The work was presented to the scientific world, together with the results of various researches and examinations carried out on it in order to shed light on various aspects, especially the language of the period in which it was written, and to contribute to the studies to be carried out in this field.
