A review of critical metaphors on Nefi's Turkish divan

Metaphor, which has an important place in the our language, is one of the concepts that we frequently encounter today. The basis of a language can be laid by deriving new words by including other words in terms of th richness of the words that it contains. While laying this foundation, metaphor, which is a suffical concept, can be used, of course. Because, the metaphor shows us hew words can be enriched by using like simile and isti'are simile, fiture of speech in simole ways. Some systematic structuresare needed in order to understend the world we live in and reveal the reality that life offers vs. Metaphoris one of these structures. Of course, we need primarily how and to what extent metaphors will emerge. In this study; the formation process of metaphor, it's miracles on language and how it changed our view of life are mentianed by evaluating metaphor in general. İn addition, the importance of metaphor is tried to mention in order to reveal the satire style of Nef'i by examining the examples we selected from Nef'î Divanı in the context of criticism of metaphor.
