A study on Nesrin Kazankaya's plays

Nesrin Kazankaya, founder of Pera Theatre, starts authoring with her first play 'Seyir Defteri', which she wrote to stage in her own theatre, and then continues writing plays without stalling. The author has 11 pieces. In this study, we will analyse her works published by Mitos Boyut Theatre Publishing. This study consists of three chapters; the first one being "The study on Nesrin Kazankaya's plays in terms of structure and contents, the second one being "General Features of the Works" and the third one being "Language, Narration and Style in Nesrin Kazankaya's works". In the first chapter, published plays by Nesrin Kazankaya have been studied and analysed in terms of contents and structure based on texts. In the second part, general features of Nesrin Kazankaya's plays have been reviewed in point of contents and structure. In the third part, Nesrin Kazankaya's works have been studied with regards to language, narration and style. Photographs showing the author's plays on stage, our interview with the author, "Conclusion" part in order to reveal the general evaluation of the plays and the sources utilized throughout the writing process of the thesis have been appended to our study.
