Dr. Refıye OKUŞLUK - ŞENESEN September 2009,241 PageIn this paper, products of transition periods of times like; birth, tradition, military service, marriage, death traditions and believes, fasts, ceremonies, folk cuisine, folk professİon of doctor and anonymous literatüre are mentioned.In the first section which is connected with folk culture, informationa which are taken from written source are informed in the first part about folk culture has been guoted some information sources, following that customs and believings collected from verbal sources have been guoted.In the second section which includes anonymous folk literatüre; product of writen in verse, writen in verse- prose and prose, anonymous folk literatüre are explained, At the end of the each section, forms and contents are evaluated. At the end of the working as well as a dictionary had been prepared that includes local words.At the end of this search, it is understood that Ulukışla folk culture is inspired from Middle Asia and Anatolian believes and cultures.
