Abstract (EN)

Derivation of the Experimental Relation?s Among NMRRelaxation Rate Enhancement Factor(1/ε*), Iyon Consantrationand Association Constants(Ka,KD).Harun KORSUMMARY:The studies which had been done on metal-protein and metal enzyme complexes byusing proton relaxation rate enhancement factor(ε*) were investigated. The methods whichhad been used in those studies for deterining εb(relaxation rate enhancement factor of boundion), Ka and KD(association constants) were examined. By assuming one to one binding(oneprotein to one ion) in the first kind, the equations giving εb, Ka and KD were obtained again. Anew to linear relation between ε* and Mnt were made. n the results we have inferred fromopinions based on this study, it has been suggested that the theory of enhancement can beapplied to a wide category of paramagnetic metal ions which can be bind to protein andenzyme.
