Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the use of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) communication and modeling techniques in terms of understanding and applying the example of Prophet Muhammad in the secondary education Life of the Prophet course and to reveal the results. In the study, which was prepared using a case study, the NLP-based Life of Our Prophet lesson was applied to the first grade of high school as an example for three weeks in accordance with the curriculum. Semi-structured interviews with volunteer students after the lessons, lesson observations and lesson documents were used as data collection tools. Longitudinal coding and content analysis were used in data analysis. The results of the study revealed that the students found the lessons useful and fluent and gave suggestions to improve their participation in activities and learning. It is noteworthy that the way the lessons are taught makes it easier to understand the Prophet Muhammad by empathizing with him. In the lessons, the change that emerged with the Prophet Muhammad's spread of Islam was analyzed on an individual and social basis with NLP techniques. For this, analytical reading based on the historical process was done by finding the points that caused the change. This situation caused cognitive and affective awareness in students. NLP communication techniques were used in lecturing and in-class communication. This contributed to the creation of a positive lesson atmosphere. In the last lesson, a draft of modeling the Prophet Muhammad using NLP was shared.
