Abstract (EN)
Nûreddin Birîfkânî is a scholar, mystic, poet and writter who grew up in Mosul province, in 19th century. There are many works of Birîfkânî in verse and prose. In addition, he trained many khalifahs and disciples. Birîfkânî who prefered a simple life away from politics, had a very large audience during his own service. This effect of Birîfkânî has continued until today thanks to his works and khalifahs, and with his views he led to formation of Birîfkâniyya arm in Qadiriyya sect.
