Abstract (EN)
Vocational and technical education fulfills an important task by supporting social and economic development in the training of qualified workforce of our country. In this sense, vocational and technical high schools providing vocational education are seen as vocational schools where they can find suitable learning environments to meet the needs of the society and meet the needs of the labour market. The aim of this study is to evaluate the success of the senior students in the field of transportation services and to assess the impact of their attitudes towards the logistics profession on business competencies and to address the points that are deemed necessary for improvement in the field. In this study, two different questionnaires were applied to qualified instructor and logistics students who were trained in transportation services as a method. A 30 item attitude scale questionnaire for students and a 32 item observation control questionnaire for educational personnel were prepared. Quantitative analysis method was used in the analysis of research findings. The obtained data by evaluated in SPSS program results were revealed. As a result, it was determined that the vocational attitudes of the students studying in the field of transportation services were at a moderate level. It has been concluded that the students professional attitudes and academic achievements do not affect business competence in enterprises. This result has been attributed to the fact that those involved in the research have a moderate academic achievement.
