Özet (EN)
In the study, the effects of social relationships of children diagnosed with learning disabilities on their self-confidence levels were examined. The sample of the research consisted of children diagnosed with learning disabilities who attended the special education and rehabilitation center determined by the Ministry of National Education in the center of Ankara. Demographic Information Form, Social Relationship Elements Scale, Self-Confidence Scale and Interview Form were used in the research. The obtained data were examined with parametric or non-parametric test methods depending on whether normality assumptions were met or not. Within the scope of the research, the distribution of the data was examined with skewness and kurtosis values, it was determined that the data was normally distributed, and in this context, analysis was carried out using Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis. When the findings were examined, a statistically significant, directly proportional and strong correlation relationship was found between the research scales. In this context, as children's social relationship levels increase, their self-confidence levels also increase. As a result of the analyzes carried out within the scope of the study; While age, grade, mother and father's education level and father's profession have a significant impact on the child's self-confidence level, it has been observed that gender, family structure and mother's profession have no effect on the child's self-confidence level. In addition, it is seen that when the children from whom data were collected have difficulty in daily life, they experience problems related to lessons, introversion and the concept of shame, and when they have difficulty in the school environment, they experience difficulties in lessons, friendship relations and the concepts of exclusion. In addition, the answers to the areas in which children find themselves talented are mostly playing football, drawing, and playing volleyball. When asked about situations where children had difficulties before but no longer had difficulties because they found a solution, the majority of the children answered that their lessons and friendships were at a better level than before.
