Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of teaching styles on the science and technology achievement scores of the 6th students, having different intelligence levels , has been examined.The study covered 32 teachers from 20 public and private schools in the different counties of Istanbul and 659 students of those teachers at 6th grade. Teaching Style Inventory (TSİ) has been applied to the teachers in order to determine their teaching styles, Multiple Intelligence Inventory (MIİ) and Science and Technology Achievement Test (STAT) have been applied to the students in order to determine their intelligence levels and Science and Tecnology course achievement. When the data, collected in this study are analised, the results are shownd the followings;?It has been found that there is a statistically significent difference among the Science and Technology achievement scores of the students of teachers, having the different teaching style.?It has been seen that there is a meaningful difference among the Science and Technology achievement scores of the students, having different intelligence levels.?It has not been found that there is a meaningful difference between the average of Science and Technology achievement scores of the students, having different intelligence levels, of the teachers who have different teaching styles.Under the light of findings which are obtained from this study, the effect of teaching styles of the teachers on the science and technology achievement scores of the students, having different intelligence levels, has been examined in the critical view of point.Keywords: Teaching Style, Multiple Intelligence Theory, Science and Technology Achievement Score
