In this study, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between teacher candidates' online homework goal orientations and homework motivation levels. The universe of the research consists of teacher candidates studying at Gaziantep University Faculty of Education, and the sample size consists of 258 teacher candidates selected by random sampling method. Online Homework Goal Orientation and Homework Motivation Scales were usedas data collection tools. Student t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analyzes were performed on independent groups using SPSS Statistics. As a result of the research; it was shown that the correlation between teacher candidates' online homework goal orientations and homework motivation levels was high. According to gender, the scores between teacher candidates' goal orientations and homework motivation levels showed a significant difference in female teacher. The correlation between teacher candidates' online homework goal orientations and homework motivation levels was analyzed based on the department variable. The departments with the highest average scores for the Performance Approach sub-dimension of the online homework goal orientation were Turkish Teaching, Social Sciences Teaching, Preschool Teaching and other departments, respectively. The departments with the highest scores for the Homework Motivation Scale total scores and the Expectation Beliefs sub-dimension were Social Sciences Teaching, Turkish Teaching and Classroom Teaching, respectively. The correlation between teacher candidates' online homework goal orientations and homework motivation levels was also analyzed based on the class variable.Although, no significant difference was observed in terms of the Efficiency Approach and Performance Approach sub-dimensions of the teacher candidates, it was observed thatthe mean scores of the teacher candidates' Expectation Beliefs sub-dimension were significantly in favor of the 3rd grade teacher candidates. It was determined that there was a moderate positive correlation between teacher candidates' online homework goal orientation - efficacy and performance approach, Homework Motivation - motivation expectation beliefs and motivation value beliefs. It was also determined that online homework goal orientation had a statistically significant effect on homework motivation levels. It was revealed that around 2% of the variance explained for homework motivation was because of online homework goal orientations.
